How time Flies

Here it is the middle January 2020.  It's hard to believe that we've lived up here a little over 1 1/2 years.  We sure love the sights and sounds of all four seasons, but we do get a little more snow than I expected. We see lots of wildlife out the window everyday.

Still making improvements to the house both inside and out.  Last summer we added a nice deck facing the lake and put on a small mudroom/porch next to the kitchen. It was a wonderful investment.  I have a few finishing touches to wrap up on the main level and then I'll be working on my makeover downstairs.

Most of our neighbors (all around the lake) are seasonal visitors from points south. We have a few  who are here year round. One family down he road had several children and the oldest has become my fishing insider for the lake.  He often stops by on his bicycle or his snowmobile for a quick visit.

We've been trying to get acquainted with all the local festivals and craft fairs.  There is something going on somewhere almost every weekend.   One weekend last fall we visited 3 events in the same day - all in different communities. Jaye have been busy mastering her stamping craft and will be setting up a table or booth at several events this.  You can find out about her crafts at Little Bear Stampin' Den on Facebook.

It's snowing as I write this, we are expected to get 1 - 3 inches. Just a little bit more than a dusting...... That's all for now.
